Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian singer and actress. Her roles on American TV shows such as Law & Order were three-seasons long. Crossing Jordan lasted six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh was her main character. She also appeared in movies such as RoboCop 3 and Most Wanted as well as the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, the latter of which she also co-wrote and directed. Hennessy was born and was raised in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, her father was a meat-salesman, as well as an executive in marketing and sales. His job required extensive travel, which led to several changes for the entire family. Her mother, Maxine, a secretary was a divorcee in 1982, leaving her daughter to be taken care of by her paternal grandmother, Eleanor who lives located in Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister and is a journalist from Canada and host. Hennessy has Irish and French, Swedish, Italian, and Swedish heritage from her father, and most of her Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. She went to Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, both located in Kitchener, Ontario, and used to busk in the Toronto subway. Hennessy and her sister were the first to appear as twin call girls on 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's actress, says she was shortlisted for Dana Scully, The X-Files role. She was also in 1988's Dead Ringers as twin call girls. Dick Wolf signed Hennessy in 1993 as Claire Kincaid, an assistant district attorney in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role lasted for three seasons before ending the series as an actor in 1996.
