Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She's the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef, with her trademark hairstyle and her pumped up personality, explains easy techniques anyone can master. Chef Burrell studied and worked in some of the most prestigious New York restaurants. He also battled Iron Chef America and the food scene of Italy. As a child in the upstate of New York, Chef Burrell discovered a love for cooking and eating at an early age. She pursued her passion for the restaurant industry by enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America after obtaining a degree in English and Communications from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a wonderful learning experience for me. Culinary Institute of America was a great opportunity to pursue a degree. After graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) while attending the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. She gained a deeper appreciation of Italian culture and cuisine while in Italy, which has influenced her style of cooking. Burrell is a well-known ambassador of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She has been on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which assists kids who have challenges. She is a frequent guest speaker at conferences and travels the country to mentor others in her task. Anne says she was incredibly fortunate that I could be able to share her passion for cooking with the people around her.
